Russian Sub Rescued by Brits

The rescue of the trapped Russian AS-28 submarine, itself a rescue craft, has been achieved with the help of a British Scorpio underwater robot flown out to the scene, which cut the cables tangled around the AS-28.

It makes you proud to be British. Well done to the team involved. The Americans also assisted, and the Japanese had ships on the way to help out. More at Reuters.

When I heard about another Russian submarine being trapped underwater, the first thing I did was recite 50 Hail Marys and offer prayers for the rescue of these brave men.

Laugh if you want, but there are millions of us who were praying in just that way for the lives to these Russians to be saved.

Although I've not seen anything relating to the fact that one of the conditions that could ensure world peace and prosperity is -- according to the followers of the Blessed Mother at Fatima, Portugual, all those decades ago --the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Blessed Mother.

I'm a true believer! What about those Russian sailors? Eh?!?

Let me hear it, buena gente!!!!!!!
