Sony PSP UK Launch 1 Sep 2005

In what is expected to be one of the biggest consumer electronics launches of the year, the Sony PlayStation Portable will be available in stores tomorrow, with some stores opening at midnight for die-hard video game fans to pick up the new handheld gaming console. However, unless you've pre-ordered, it is unlikely you'll be able to get your hands on one, as demand has been very strong, and Sony is hoping to sell a million units by Christmas. It has already sold more than 5 million units in Europe and Japan. The PSP is a serious challenge to Nintendo, who up until now has dominated the handheld gaming market.
