Amir Khan Achieves Quick Victory

Congratulations go to Amir Khan, who needed just 75 seconds of the first round to defeat his Belarussian challenger Vitali Martynov. 19 year-old Khan put on an impressive display with lightening quick punches connecting with devastating consequences for his helpless opponent. Martynov was left reeling when a high powered right from Khan connected square on his chin, and the referee took moments to decide to stop the fight.

Khan said he had been working hard for the fight, and would have liked to have had the opportunity to show the crowd more of himself. Khan left the fight uninjured, without taking any serious knocks.
