X-Factor Back On Our Screens from 19th August

Contestants from the previous series that now have record deals include Shayne Ward, Maria Lawson and chirpy goat herder Chico Slimari. We found out from GMTV this morning that bubbly Brenda Edwards is now appearing in West End musical Chicago.
We believe that the judges from the last series, Sharon Osbourne (manager of Ozzy Osbourne), Louis Walsh (Boyzone, Ronan Keating, Girls Aloud) and Simon Cowell (Westlife, Robson and Jerome) will be joined by American series judge Paula Abdul.
Oh, and after severe lampooning by Ant and Dec, we believe Simon Cowell no longer favours high-waisted trousers. Maybe he visited our mens clothing page.
