New Single from X-Factor Winner Leona Lewis

Leona Lewis has a new single out called "Bleeding Love", which will be available to buy on 22nd October. The single will be Radio 1's Scott Mills' record of the week, and breakfast DJ Chris Moyles has declared himself a Leona Lewis fan. Her new album will be out in November. Leona said that X-Factor guru Simon Cowell told her to take her time in making the album, so hopefully it will be really special - she is undoubtedly a superb singer, and testament to the X-Factor format for finding the hidden stars of the UK.

High School Musical 2

Fans of High School Musical will be eagerly awaiting the UK premiere of the sequel, High School Musical 2, which airs on the Disney Channel (available on Sky) at 6pm on Friday 21st September. Millions of viewers tuned in for the US premiere, and Disney are hoping for similar success in the UK, organising a concerted publicity campaign which saw the cast visiting the UK, including real life couple Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, who play Gabriella Montez and Troy Bolton respectively in the love story.

The High School Musical soundtrack has also been a great success, featuring catchy songs that are reminiscent of Grease.
