Jimmy Carr on The Jonathon Ross Show

Jonathon Ross isn't known for giving his guests an easy time on his show, and that was certainly the case when comedian Jimmy Carr appeared yesterday. Ross had a dig at Jimmy for his overly smart appearance, and suggested that he try a more casual style, "helping" him by telling him to take his shoes and socks off and roll up his jeans and then ruffling his trademark Jimmy Carr precision hair style and ripping his shirt off. Jimmy looked a little shocked at this, but Ross did not appear overly concerned, commenting later words to the effect of "Never mind, he's got a DVD promote" ... which of course he has, it's called "Jimmy Carr - Comedian (Live)" and you can buy it from Amazon:

New Craig David Album, Trust Me, Out November 12

Craig David has appeared on the ITV's Katie & Peter Show. We've been seeing more of the singer as he has a new single, Hot Stuff, which features a David Bowie Let's Dance sample, out on the 5th November 2007, and a new album, Trust Me, out on 12th November 2007. We think Hot Stuff is great and we look forward to listening to the rest of the album. Craig David is undoubtedly one of the best male vocal talents of the UK so it's good to see him back in the spotlight. You can pre-order the album from Amazon UK:

Girls Aloud on Jonathon Ross

Girls Aloud appeared on the Jonathon Ross Show on 2nd November, with other guests being Gordon Ramsay, and Ruth Jones and James Corden, the stars of BBC 3's comedy hit Gavin and Stacey. Girls Aloud fans will be delighted to hear that they have now have entered the Guinness Book of Records for the girl group with the most ever consecutive top ten singles, and as they reminded us on the show, they were the first ever girl band to debut at number 1. On the show Cheryl ticked off Gordon Ramsay for his attitude towards vegetarians - Ramsay was somewhat dismissive of her choice to be vegetarian when she appeared on the F Word.

The new Girls Aloud album, Tangled Up, is out on 19th November 2007.
